Biography

Scott Westlund is experienced in handling all types of civil litigation and has tried numerous matters to successful verdict. He is licensed to practice law in all Federal and State District Courts in the State of Texas. Scott concentrates his practice in handling wrongful death, personal injury, product liability, construction defect, and insurance bad faith matters. Scott was born and raised in Central Texas and obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Howard Payne University Social Sciences Honors Program while also becoming a four-year letterman in baseball. Scott obtained his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law. While at St. Mary's, he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award, named outstanding Phi Alpha Delta member, and served as a teaching assistant. For the first 11 years of his career, Scott's practice focused on representing the insurance industry and their insureds. In October of 2006, Scott joined Doug Ketterman and Michael Rowland to form Ketterman, Rowland & Westlund. Scott now represents individuals against the insurance industry and their insureds. Scott is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, San Antonio Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and Phi Delta Phi Law Fraternity. In 2007-2009, he was voted one of The Best Lawyers in San Antonio in "Scene in SA Monthly." Scott and his wife, Becky, have three children, Brady, Cassidy and Kyler.
