Family Home Burns

According to an article on click2houston.com, high winds were one of the reasons a family’s home burned to the ground. Sadly, the blaze killed two dogs that belonged to the family in the home. Initially, the Westfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call for a house fire around 2 in the morning. Luckily, the homeowner was awake and smelled the smoke. Then, he was able to wake his wife and 16-year-old daughter. In the end, all the residents safely evacuated the home. After about 40 minutes, the firefighters were able to put out the fire, but the house and the two dogs were lost.
