Ketterman Rowland & Westlund is proud to offer The Ketterman Rowland & Westlund Excellence in Education Scholarship with $5000 in scholarship awards to students who demonstrate the need for the financial resources to accomplish their educational goals, while preparing for future career aspirations!
In order to be eligible for The Ketterman Rowland & Westlund Excellence in Education Scholarship, applicants must:
-Be a US Citizen or legal resident
-Be accepted or currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or graduate program within the U.S
-Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
-Demonstrate good character and high initiative.
Applicants must submit the following documents to be considered:
-A completed application form.
-A current high school, college, or graduate school transcript. (Unofficial copies are acceptable)
-A letter of recommendation from a teacher/faculty member.
-A typed essay of 300-500 words about a time when you faced a significant ethical, financial or moral dilemma. What was the situation and what did you do?
Also, please include a brief personal statement as to why you believe you deserve this scholarship and how it may further impact your education. Applicants are highly encouraged to speak genuinely about themselves.

The application and supporting material must be received by August 31, 2018.
The scholarship winners will be notified by email prior to December 31, 2018.
The scholarship must be applied to tuition and other education-related expenses. A check will be made payable to the recipient’s educational institution directly (still verifying, but we can publish it that way for now). You are expected to submit any receipts to remain in compliance with the IRS.
