Mediation
Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is an informal and often cost-effective way of settling disputes without bringing forth a case to trial. There are two major types of ADR: (1) mediation and (2) arbitration. In mediation, an independent mediator facilitates negotiation between the parties, so that they can reach their own resolution. While in arbitration, a private judge, called an “arbitrator,” imposes a resolution on the parties.
Douglas Ketterman is a certified Texas mediator, dedicating a percentage of his practice to mediating cases between litigants. He is available for half-day, full-day, and multi-day mediations.
