According to mySA, in San Antonio, an unrelinquishing fire trapped a 45-year-old woman inside her burning house. The fire took place in the 500 block of North Meadowlane.
A policeman was the first on the scene where he found good Samaritan, neighboring residents using their water hose to try and put out the fire. The police rushed into the blaze to save the woman, who had become unresponsive. The officer brought her outside, where he performed CPR until paramedics arrived. She was transported by ambulance to San Antonio Military Medical Center where she rests in critical condition.
The fire damage reported was an estimated $25,000 to $30,000 in damages.
Investigators are still determining the cause of the fire.
