Woman Turned Herself in for Drunk Driving The Houston Chronical reported, Marissa Ann Sluss, 25, and Hannah Webb were charged with driving while intoxicated and public intoxication around 3 a.m. after Sluss called 911 on herself. Sluss told the 911 operator she was too drunk to drive because, her friend Hannah, the passenger, told her so. Police responded to find Sluss parked in the middle of the street of 100 West Parkwood Avenue on her phone. Running a Red Light Results in a Fatal Collision Reported by Chron, a fatal collision occurred Monday night around 9:40 in Cypress. The Harris County Sherriff’s Office says Deshaun Thomas was headed inbound on the Northwest Freeway feeder road near Spring Cypress while Jesse Myers was driving westbound in the 17800 block of Spring Cypress. On Tuesday afternoon, a head-on crash was reported on the East Side according to mySA News. The accident caused the death of a woman. Officials were called and responded to the incident scene around 2:30 p.m. in the 4700 block of Rigsby Avenue. According to the report, the 62-year-old woman drove her car into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a truck. No one knows the reason for the crash at the moment, but it’s possible she fell asleep behind the wheel. 7 Year Old Boy Shot in Drive-by in East Side Neighborhood

According to kstat.com, a 7-year-old San Antonio boy was shot shortly before 7 a.m. in his 300 block Charcliff Drive home as he slept on May 8, 2017. He was shot at least once, maybe twice in his left arm as he slept. He has undergone surgery to repair the wound. Police are unsure of whom the target was. Bexar County Jail Attacks Among Inmates on the Rise

According to FOX29, inmate violence against other prisoners and jailers is on the rise. “Code 2” means an inmate is attacking another inmate or that an inmate has attacked a jail deputy. Records from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office show that the code has increased, almost doubling since last year. January had 116 “Code 2’s.”, February had 92 calls, and in March there were 110 calls. Star-Telegram– A Forest Hill woman died Monday evening in a single-vehicle crash. 26-year-old Wendy Clewis was following her child’s father in another vehicle when she wrecked. The couple was traveling on Interstate 35W near Morningside Drive, said officer Brad Perez, a police spokesman. The father rushed the woman to John Peter Smith Hospital, but the woman, unfortunately, died on the operating table.
