Luis Vasquez

Luis is a member of the State Bar of Texas. He graduated from Western Michigan Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. During law school, Luis earned a Certificate of Merit (highest grade in the class) in Equities and Remedies; Certificate of Merit (highest grade in the class) in Immigration; and was a teaching assistant in Equities and Remedies. He went on to obtain his LL.M. from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin.

Originally from Guatemala, Luis arrived in Waco, Texas at a very young age. He grew up in Waco, where he completed high school and took classes at his local community college. Luis then moved to Austin, Texas to attend the University of Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Government and a minor in Business. As an undergraduate, Luis was the Recipient of the MAC scholarship through the Bernard Rapoport Foundation.

Outside of being an attorney, Luis’s favorite hobby is scuba diving. He became certified at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia and has dived in many places around the world since becoming a certified diver.
