According to NBC DFW, authorities said a man was killed, and a woman was injured after they were struck by a vehicle on Interstate 635 in Dallas late Thursday night. Dallas police said a man stopped his motorcycle on westbound I-635 near Midway Road to retrieve a phone and money that fell from his backpack. A female passenger remained on the motorcycle. As the man returned to the bike, police said it was struck from behind by a blue Nissan Altima at 11:50 p.m. Officials said they pronounced the man dead at the scene. Police said the passenger transported to Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas with multiple lacerations on her forehead. She was alert and talking to emergency personnel.
