Douglas D. Ketterman graduated with honors from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1989 and has spent his entire career in civil litigation, concentrating on personal injury, wrongful death, and insurance disputes. In 1998, he earned Board Certification in Personal Injury Trial Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization — a credential held by only a small fraction of practicing Texas attorneys.
He is licensed to practice in both state and federal district courts in Texas, and has built KRW Lawyers into a firm known for taking hard cases to verdict rather than settling early. He has been named a Texas Super Lawyer and a Best Lawyer in America year after year, holds a Lifetime Membership in the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and was named to The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 from 2011 through 2016.
Beyond the courtroom, Douglas has served the profession directly — appointed by the State Bar of Texas to the District 10 Grievance Committee, where he has sat as panel member, committee chair, and panel chair, helping enforce the ethical rules that govern attorney conduct across the region.
