BIOGRAPHY
Matthew believes that his clients are hard-working individuals who deserve to be represented by an attorney who is willing to work just as hard as they do.
Matthew’s legal practice litigates asbestos-related cases including asbestosis, asbestos-related products and asbestos bankruptcy trusts claims, as well as cases involving mesothelioma, personal injury, wrongful death, and defective products. He is extremely knowledgeable about how to properly navigate through the complicated legal issues related to asbestos claims and has successfully represented tens of thousands of clients who have fallen victim to asbestos exposure in the workplace, recovering over a half-billion dollars on their behalf.

I WON’T TOLERATE SUCH INJUSTICE.”
Matthew is active in the legal community and holds memberships in the American Association for Justice, the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, and the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association. He also belongs to the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, and the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association.
The National Trial Lawyers has designated Matthew as one of the “Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in Texas.” Membership is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile. Matthew was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2013 and the State Bar of Minnesota in 2015 (inactive). He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Andy Roddick Foundation, which focuses on closing the education achievement gap among lower-income students by way of quality, out-of-school programs. Matthew currently serves on the foundation’s board of directors.
Matthew completed his Juris Doctor degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2012 after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude at Texas Tech University in 2004.
Aside from practicing law, Matthew is the Founder and CEO of Ketterman Ranch, a premier upland bird and exotic hunting lodge located in Burnet in the Texas Hill Country. Matthew is also passionate when it comes to philanthropy. He and his wife, Tamara, are faithful members of LifeAustin Church in Austin, Texas and helped underwrite the construction of the Ketterman Family Chapel. Matthew and Tamara have two young children, Matthew Douglas and Stetson Matthew, who inspire them every day.
