BIOGRAPHY
San Antonio legal practitioner Scott Westlund is a managing partner and accredited personal injury attorney at KRW, known as KRW Lawyers throughout Texas.
Mr. Westlund transformed his legal career, initially defending corporations and insurance companies for over ten years, then pivoted to represent personal injury victims.
Scott compassionately litigates personal injury-related cases: 18-Wheeler and Commercial Truck Accidents, Oil Field Injury, Premises Liability, Wrongful Death, and bad faith insurance matters for hard-working Texans and their families.

Scott is licensed to practice law in Texas, Federal, and State District Courts. He is a member of the San Antonio Bar Association, the Texas Bar Association, the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association.
Scott has been selected by his peers as a Texas “Super Lawyer” by Thompson Reuters, an honor reserved for the top 5% of practicing attorneys in the State of Texas. Additionally, within one year of co-founding KRW Lawyers, Mr. Westlund earned lifetime member status of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2007.
One year later, and every year since 2008, Scott has received an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating a lawyer can achieve for their demonstrated legal ability and ethical standards.
Scott Westlund believes in giving back and generously supports the Autism Community while backing other community efforts through the KRW Kares program that empowers regional children and their families.
Originally born and raised in Austin, Texas, Scott graduated from the Howard Payne University Social Sciences Honors Program while competing on the baseball team, lettering all four years.
He went on to earn his Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While at St. Mary’s, he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award, named an outstanding Phi Alpha Delta member, and served as a teaching assistant.
Scott Westlund celebrates “lake life” on Lake LBJ in the heart of Texas Hill Country with his family and friends.
