In a SACurrent news article, six months after a 16-year-old foster girl was sent to live with Miguel Briseno and his wife, Debra, the new foster father sexually assaulted her. In an NBC news report, the father of a missing 3-year-old girl was arrested Monday after voluntarily giving new answers to investigators’ questions about his daughter’s disappearance. Wesley Mathews, 37, was charged Monday afternoon with first-degree felony injury to a child, a crime punishable by up to life imprisonment. Round Rock Man Arrested in Sting Operation

KXAN– A Central Texas woman notified Clifton police that a man from Round Rock she met on a dating app wanted to have sexual relations with her 13-year-old daughter. Police said Emit De La Rosa had met the woman through a dating app and sprouted a relationship and asked about her home life. The woman talked about her daughter, and that’s when the relationship went south. De La Rosa began asking the woman to coax the girl to have sex with him. Two Daycare Employees Arrested, Charged with Injuring Children

KXAN reported two Waco employees at the local day care, Miss Pepper’s Daycare, were arrested and the facility was shut down after allegations of child abuse. Both women turned themselves in after an arrest warrant was obtained. In April, reports of child abuse prompted the Crimes Against Children Detective Unit to investigate the business. Waco police arrested owner Pepper Jones, 37, and employee Brittany Starr Hale, 30. Parents May Face Charges For Abandoning 1-year-old at Houston Fire Station

Details of the Incident Reported by Chron, Firefighters from Station 21 at 10515 Main Street came downstairs Friday morning around 9:30 to a baby left in a car seat crying outside.
